Artwork: Submit only three images at a time. We publish drawings, paintings, comics, and photographs. For now, only our front and back covers are in colour, so please make sure your work comes across well in black and white, too.
Chroma is published twice a year. We accept submissions from all people who identify as queer, regardless of sex and sexuality. For a definition of queer, please click here.
Each issue is themed - click here to view future themes.
Prose: Please submit only one story at a time. Prose must be double-spaced and ideally in Arial font. No previously published material is accepted. Stories: 2,500 - 5,000 words. We're looking for fiction, memoir and essays that experiment and take thematic and stylistic risks, that emphasise writing style over content, that have a distinct individual voice, and that favour character over plot.
Shortlist: Short Stories
Poetry: Please submit only three poems at a time. Up to 50 lines.
